Day 22 – Action Figure Power Girl (blackout poem)

By on June 29, 2017

Studies show
girls’ ambitions
can be heavily influenced
by their playthings.

Search for female
figures athletic
and empowering,
find hypersexualized
figures for
adult male collectors.

The idea
that girls could
save the world –
that’s very powerful
fantasy.

[Blackout poem crafted from a TIME article Published 12-8-14.]
